Computer Modeling in the Science Classroom

This wiki is designed to give you an "e-handout" of resources to support the workshop introducing StarLogo TNG - a 3D modeling software.

Use the "Navigator" to explore this wiki.  ->

As part of my MS in Biology from the University of Arizona, I'm required to give a professional development workshop. The workshop will introduce users to StarlogoTNG and how to use the program to model experiments and scientific thinking when the actual experiment is not safe or possible to perform in a classroom. In addition, we'll review a few great technology tools because they're free, they work, and kids are already using them.

If enough people are interested in another Elluminate Workshop - I'll try again. Please contact me.
* There were several technical issues with the session and one resilient student kept getting kicked off. There are some lulls in the recording, but it still might be worthwhile to view (fast forward through the troubleshooting) and then practice with StarLogo TNG!
